4 Halloween Recipes So Good They’ll Give You the Chills

Ghosts, graveyards and goodies galore. Sometimes just the thought of leaving your house on Halloween night makes you want to curl up under the blankets with a warm mug of chai. Whether you’re staying in, hosting a party or needing a to-go mug and snack for trick-or-treating, these four simple chai recipes are so delectable they’ll make your hair stand on end. 1. Mulled Apple Chai Cider

Grab your coziest blanket, put on your favorite Halloween movie and curl up with a mug of Mulled Apple Chai Cider. It’s the perfect drink to keep you warm on a crisp fall night.

Ingredients:

• 4 oz. Oregon Chai The Original™ Chai Tea Latte Concentrate

• 4 oz. apple cider

• 1 cinnamon stick

Directions:

Mix together Oregon Chai concentrate and cider and heat to 150º. Serve with a cinnamon stick. Sit back and relax with your cozy drink.

 

2. Chai Punch

A Halloween party isn’t complete without the perfect playlist, fun costumes and, of course, chai punch. It’s sure to impress your guests and add a little extra spice to your party.

Ingredients:

• 32 oz. Oregon Chai The Original™ Chai Tea Latte Concentrate

• 32 oz. club soda

• ½ c. sugar

• 1 medium lime or lemon, sliced

• 1 medium orange, sliced

• ¼ c. fresh basil leaves, chopped

• 8 inches stick cinnamon

• Ice cubes

Directions:

Mix chai tea concentrate and sugar in a large pitcher or container. Add stick cinnamon, basil, lime or lemon, and orange. Cover and chill 4–24 hours.

Strain solids from the mixture. Slowly add club soda just before serving. Serve over ice cubes. Enjoy your cool refreshment as your party heats up.

 

3. Hot Pumpkin Spice Latte

There’s no better way to unwind after Halloween festivities than with a hot pumpkin spice latte and a comfy sweater. Whether you spent your Halloween carving a pumpkin, out with friends, or trick-or-treating with your kids, your pumpkin spice latte will help you relax and enjoy the evening in good company.

Ingredients:

• 1 oz. Oregon Chai The Original™ Chai Tea Latte Concentrate

• ⅓ oz. DaVinci Gourmet Gingerbread Classic Syrup

• ⅔ oz. DaVinci Gourmet Vanilla Classic Syrup

• 3 oz. espresso

• 5 oz. milk

Directions:

In a glass or paper cup, mix the Chai, syrup and espresso. Add heated (preferably steamed) milk and savor your warm, spicy treat.

 

4. Chai Sugar Cookies

What’s Halloween without treats? Our chai sugar cookies will fill your home with the warm scent of homemade cookies and your belly with the delicious taste of chai. Pass them out to trick-or-treaters, serve them at a party or hide the cookie jar and save them all for yourself.

In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, egg and Oregon Chai concentrate. Beat until creamy. Add flour and baking powder and beat until well blended. Divide the dough into two pieces, cover and refrigerate until firm (2–3 hours or overnight). Preheat oven to 400ºF. On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to ¼-inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6–10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely.

    I love your Chia Tea and have made some of your recipes.. But I have just found out that I am Gluten Free. Could you please let me know if any of your Chia Teas or recipes are Gluten Free.
