What are your resolutions for the New Year?
Our mantra is: Stay focused but free spirited. Work hard to achieve your goals, but remember to keep chasing adventures and savoring moments with the ones you love most.
A balance of work and fun makes us all feel good. Sip on your favorite chai and read through our list of 9 healthy habits to start now.
1. Work your bedside manner
Get enough sleep. You’ll be happier, healthier and, most importantly, not yawning during that 3:00 meeting.
2. Become a morning person
This is harder than it sounds for some of us, but it makes a difference.
Kiss the morning rush goodbye. Get up a little earlier, enjoy some #MeTIme and savor that cup of chai before the busyness of the day comes crashing in.
3. Taste the story
39% of us will pay a bit more for foods that are healthier. Pay attention to where your food and drink comes from. Know what ingredients you’re sipping and savoring.
4. Chefs unite
A surefire way to know what’s going into your meals? Bake at home. Savor time with ones you love around the dinner table.
Better yet, make enough for leftovers so you’re not one of the 48% of us that skip a meal at least three times per week. Let’s bring that number down this year.
5. Fly solo
Fit in some #MeTime. Knitting, yoga, crating, whatever you’re in the mood for, make time for it.
It’s important to relax and recharge. You’ll be a better spouse, parent, teammate and friend.
6. Family + friends = love
Relish the #WeTime moments with family and friends, too. Laughing, talking or just sitting around, those are the moments we all look back on with a smile.
7. Good karma
Give back to your community. Work in the soup kitchen, donate to a nonprofit or spend time with kids who need it. You might be amazed just how good giving back feels.
If you’re heading up a fundraising effort this year, we’d love to help. Drop us a line at email@example.com, and we’d be happy to chat about ways we can donate.
8. An apple a day keeps the doctor away
Fruit and vegetables are key to a healthy diet. And they pair deliciously with chai, if we do say so.
Stay healthier so you have more time for what you love.
9. Find your story.
Work hard, play hard. Find time for adventure. Travel the world or visit that new restaurant down the street, but make time for what matters to you.
