Easy Dessert Recipes Inspired by Chai

1. Immaculate Chai Pudding

A spoonful to bring smiles from ear to ear—served warm or chilled.

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons Oregon Chai The Original™ Chai Tea Latte Powdered
    Mix
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup raw sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups milk or soymilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

 

Directions:

In a saucepan, combine all the dry ingredients, then slowly add the milk and whisk well. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from the heat and add vanilla. Chai pudding is immaculate warm or chilled.

 

2. Chai Milkshake

Cool down with 12 ounces of something simple and delicious. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 6 oz. Oregon Chai The Original Chai Tea Latte Concentrate

 

Directions:

Blend and serve.

 

3. Amazing Frozen Chocolate Chai

Spoil your inner chocolate lover and nestle into this indulgent delight and a good read.

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. Oregon Chai The Original Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
  • 4 oz. Chocolate milk
  • 2 scoops chocolate sorbet

 

Directions:

 

Combine all in blender and mix until smooth. Watch how fast it disappears.

 

4. Apple Chai Oatmeal Cookies

If you have a few minutes to spare for a batch of fresh-baked cookies, these will be sure to delight.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup Quick oats
  • 1 1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 cup Packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup White sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter, softened
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Applesauce
  • 1/4 cup Oregon Chai The Original™ Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Walnuts

 

Directions:

Pour raisins into small bowl and cover with Oregon Chai, set aside. Combine oats, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and set aside. In a separate mixing bowl, combine sugars, add butter and beat until creamy. Add egg and applesauce and blend until smooth. Add flour-oat mixture and blend. Add chocolate chips, raisins and walnuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 3 dozen cookies.

 

5. Choco-latte

Chill in front of the fire with a calmingly cool chai-infused latte and fresh craft endeavor.

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. Oregon Chai The Original Chai Tea Latte Concentrate
  • 4 oz. Vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 4 oz. Ice

 

Directions:

Blend to creamy perfection.
